longbook for iPhone and Mac

What it does
Anything that repeats
Streaming, insurance, rent, school fees, a loan EMI or a salary paid to someone. Monthly, yearly or every few days, and one-time payments too.
What comes next
Upcoming lists every charge ahead; Past lists every charge made. Search by name, or filter by category, account, member, status or currency.
An accurate record
Mark a charge paid, pause a commitment, or set the day it stops. A new price applies to one charge or to every later one; paid charges keep the price they were paid at.

Why it exists
Recurring payments are easy to start and hard to keep in view. They sit on different cards, renew on different days, and many never send a bill. longbook keeps them in one list, so the next charge is always in sight.
Questions
Does longbook cancel a subscription?+
No. longbook records the cancellation: a commitment can be paused, cancelled, or set to stop on a date, and its history stays. The cancelling itself happens with the provider.
Does longbook connect to a bank?+
No. Commitments are typed in, read from a bank statement, or added by your AI or Siri. Nothing is read from a bank account directly.

About longbook
longbook is a memory for your financial commitments: subscriptions, insurance, rent, loans and every other payment that comes back. It runs on iPhone and Mac and keeps its records as plain files in your own iCloud.
The next payment stays in view on the iPhone widget and in the Mac menu bar. Your AI can read your longbook and update it through longbook's MCP server, and every change it makes shows in Changes, to keep or undo.
