Your privacy in Support
We never see inside your longbook
Your records live in your own iCloud. Support never asks for them, and we can't open them.
What to leave out of a message
Please don't paste or attach:
- account or card numbers, card details or PINs
- amounts, balances or statements
- passwords or sign-in codes
To show a problem, describe it, or send a screenshot with the figures cropped or covered.
Who answers
longbook Support is an AI. It answers from these help articles, using Anthropic's Claude through longbook's server. When it doesn't know, or you'd rather ask a person, tap Ask a person: it opens your own email to contact@longbook.app with the conversation in it, and you send it yourself. Someone on the team replies to you by email.
What Support keeps
- On your device: your conversation, so you can come back to it.
- On our server: nothing you wrote. We only count questions, note which articles answered them and how you rated them, and, when an article was missing, a short topic with no names or numbers, so we know what to write next.
- In our inbox: only an email you choose to send us.
- At Anthropic: your messages are used only to answer you, kept briefly under its commercial terms, and never used to train its models.
A screenshot never goes to the AI. It goes only in an email you send the team yourself.
Forget your conversation
In the app, tap Clear support history on the Help & about screen. To have an email deleted from our inbox, write to contact@longbook.app.
