What longbook is and what it costs
longbook remembers the payments that come back: rent, insurance, loan instalments, school fees, subscriptions, card fees and domain renewals. It keeps the next one in view on your iPhone and your Mac: in a Home Screen widget and in the Mac menu bar.
It also keeps the expenses you have already made, so you can see a month's spending in Reports.
Where your records live
Everything is kept in a longbook folder in your own iCloud Drive, as a plain file you own. longbook doesn't connect to your bank. We never see inside your longbook.
What it runs on
- iPhone with iOS 17 or later
- Mac with macOS 14 or later and Apple silicon
One purchase covers both, and both read the same folder, so a change on one shows on the other.

longbook is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. At launch:
- The first 100 buyers pay $38.
- The next 250 pay $98.
