What longbook does not do
It doesn't
- connect to your bank. Payments are typed in, read from a statement you pick, or added by your AI or Siri.
- cancel a subscription. It records the cancellation. The cancelling happens with the provider.
- set budgets, targets or forecasts. It records and totals what goes out.
- convert currencies. Each currency is totalled on its own.
- write to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. The calendar is drawn inside longbook.
- read your email itself. Your AI reads it through its own connector.
- keep your statements. They are read and not kept. A copy of your longbook goes to our server only while Let AI Read My longbook is on.
- offer a Lock Screen widget or a Mac widget. The iPhone has a Home Screen widget and the Mac has a menu bar item.
Coming later
- more devices: iPad, Apple Watch, iPhone Duo and Android, with the same licence
- Income: salary, interest and refunds in their own list
- Available to spend: what is left after everything already committed
- Savings accounts: your saved balance kept apart from spending
None of these is in the app yet.
