What longbook Cloud adds

longbook works on its own with your iCloud. Cloud is an optional subscription for the few features that need our server.

What you get

• Your AI on any device. Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach your longbook from your phone or the web, through the longbook connector and access keys.
• Shared reports. Share a spending report with family as a link and a password. They can view it and comment from any browser.
• More statement reading. A larger monthly share of statements read for you.

Viewing a report someone shared with you needs no subscription.

What it costs

• Your longbook purchase includes 12 months of Cloud, free, for you and your Apple family.
• After that, Cloud is $4 a month through the App Store, or your country's price.
• Cloud is bought and cancelled inside your Apple Account's subscription settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.

What it keeps

When you turn on the connector, a copy of your longbook is kept with your account so your AI can read it. It's encrypted, and you can turn it off at any time, which deletes the copy at once.

The copy is also deleted after 90 days without the app refreshing it, or 30 days after Cloud ends.

Without Cloud

Everything else keeps working: your records, reminders, widgets, imports within the included share, and Claude on your Mac reading your folder directly.
