# Proposals: review what your AI writes

- Page: https://longbook.app/help/proposals-review-what-your-ai-writes/

Every row that an AI, Siri, a statement import or another program writes into longbook shows in **Proposals**, with its writer's name, to keep or undo.

## How it works

- Rows are listed in a tab for each kind: charges, commitments, accounts, people and categories.
- A changed row shows each field before and after.
- **Keep All** accepts the proposal. **Undo All** writes back the state from before it.
- Before you decide, you can edit or delete a row that was added.

## Not a queue

A proposal is already in your longbook when you see it, and the rest of the app counts it. **Keep All** confirms it. **Undo All** removes it, including anything edited since.

## History

**History** keeps the last 50 versions of your longbook, each with its writer, time and what it changed. **Restore** writes an earlier version back as one more proposal. It deletes nothing.

## Questions

### Can I keep one row and undo another?

No. **Keep All** and **Undo All** answer the whole proposal. Delete or edit a row first if you need to.

### What counts as a proposal?

Writes from an AI through the MCP server, Siri, the Shortcuts action, a statement import, or another program editing the file. Edits you make in the app's own forms don't wait for review. Notes your AI leaves on cards don't show here.

### Can my AI change things without my knowing?

No. Every proposal names its writer. Through the online connection, a signed-in AI can only make proposals, and only after **Allow proposals** is on.

Still have a question? Open **Support** in the app, under **Settings**, then **Help & about**, or write to contact@longbook.app and a person answers.
